Loganville, GA is reeling after the fatal shooting of beloved CVS pharmacy employee Kimberly “Kim” Whaley, sparking a major investigation now joined by the United States Secret Service.

Whaley, 62, was found shot in the CVS parking lot on November 14 and later died at Grady Memorial Hospital.

The case’s urgency has mobilized multiple agencies, including the Secret Service, Monroe Police, Walton County Sheriff’s Office, District Attorney, and Georgia Bureau of Investigation, though local police have not revealed why federal support was requested.
