Grayson High School is once again making headlines, earning the No. 6 spot in USA Today’s prestigious Super 25 national preseason football rankings for 2025.

The Loganville-based Rams are riding high after finishing No. 7 nationally last year, energizing fans and boosting expectations for the upcoming season.

With senior quarterback Travis Burgess leading the offense and dynamic junior running backs Ashton Turner and Joel Bradford returning, the team’s backfield is set to impress.

On defense, five-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson headlines a unit determined to stay dominant, despite the loss of four star defensive linemen to graduation.

Replacing a front that recorded 199 tackles for loss and 59 sacks in 2024 will be crucial for Grayson to maintain its tradition of excellence.

If the new defensive line steps up, Grayson could soar even higher in the national rankings this fall.

Quote Of The Day

"Discover the hidden gems in our own backyard and find beauty in the familiar."

Grayson High School’s own Anthony Davis Jr. announced his verbal commitment to the University of Mississippi, choosing the Rebels over top contenders like Alabama, Michigan, and Auburn.

The Loganville standout, standing 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, is recognized as a four-star prospect, ranked the No. 30 linebacker nationally and among Georgia’s best young talents.

Following official visits to Auburn, Ole Miss, Michigan, and Alabama, Davis found his fit in Oxford, declaring, “Natty on the way!” to highlight his championship expectations with Ole Miss.

His commitment gives the Rebels 16 verbal pledges for the 2026 recruiting class, boosting their defensive roster for future seasons.

This next chapter not only elevates Davis’s career but also reinforces Grayson’s reputation for producing top-tier athletes ready to excel at the national level.
