Pita Mediterranean Street Food is bringing fresh flavors to Loganville, opening its new location this Friday, April 24.

The grand opening at 4211 Atlanta Highway, Suite 100 starts at 2:45 p.m., featuring a ribbon cutting with the Walton Chamber of Commerce.

Locals, officials, and visitors are invited to celebrate as the area welcomes this fast-casual eatery to the community.

The menu highlights customizable pita wraps, hearty rice platters, bowls, and fresh salads.

Guests can savor a variety of proteins—from classic gyro and chicken to steak shawarma, falafel, shrimp, and salmon, offering something for every taste.

Loganville’s popular McDonald’s has temporarily closed, as crews demolish the old building to make way for an all-new, modern restaurant.

Instead of a simple remodel, the site is being fully redeveloped to meet the area’s rapid growth.

Construction is underway, and the new McDonald’s is expected to reopen in July.

The upgraded design will offer more parking, expanded mobile and delivery pick-up zones, and a streamlined drive-through for faster service.

With Loganville’s location among the busiest in the region, these improvements address ongoing high demand.

Locals rely on this McDonald’s for favorites like Big Macs, breakfast classics, and McCafé drinks, making the rebuild eagerly anticipated.

Once completed, the restaurant will feature updated kitchen technology, an enhanced layout, and better options for both dine-in and drive-through orders—promising a much-improved experience for regulars.

Snellville’s Piedmont Eastside Medical Center has earned a place among the nation’s top 10% of inpatient rehabilitation facilities, according to a comprehensive ranking by Netsmart Technologies.

This marks the ninth consecutive year the center has received such recognition, highlighting its ongoing commitment to restoring patients’ independence with exceptional care.

The evaluation used a detailed performance model that compares over 80% of rehab centers nationwide, drawing on metrics from Medicare and non-Medicare cases discharged between October 2024 and September 2025.

Facilities are assessed for efficiency, effectiveness, and patient-centered outcomes using the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument.

Netsmart’s report card identifies industry leaders, and Piedmont Eastside stands out for its dedicated staff and proven patient results.
