Late-night blaze along Highway 81 leaves home a total loss as community organizations and businesses mobilize support and donation efforts for displaced family.

Loganville - A late-night house fire in the Loganville area has left a family of five displaced after flames destroyed their home Saturday night.

Emergency crews were dispatched around 10:37 p.m. to a residence along Highway 81 near Bullock Bridge Road. When firefighters arrived, the structure was already fully involved, according to officials on scene. Despite the intensity of the blaze, everyone inside the home was able to escape.

 

The homeowners were reportedly out of town at the time of the fire. A house sitter who was staying at the residence managed to get out safely along with the family dog. No serious injuries have been reported.

 

Firefighters from Walton County Fire Rescue, along with additional local units, worked through the night to bring the fire under control. Due to the extent of the damage, the home is believed to be a total loss. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

 

In the aftermath of the fire, the Loganville community has quickly come together to support the displaced family. Several local businesses, civic organizations, and schools have stepped in to assist with immediate needs and recovery efforts.

 

Organizations offering support include the Rotary Club of Loganville, Your Pie Pizza, Techmazing Heating and Cooling, the American Legion, and the local school system.
