ATLANTA, GA – Georgia State University College of Law is proud to recognize the outstanding student leaders who have been elected to serve as 2025-2026 officers for our Ronald J. Freeman Chapter of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA).
Founded in 1983 and named after one of the law school’s first Black graduates, BLSA continues its mission to support the educational and professional advancement of Black law students. Through mentorship, networking, and dynamic programming, including mock bar exams, legal forums, and community events, BLSA fosters leadership and drives meaningful change within the legal community.
Rachel Lindsay will help continue BLSA’s mission to promote the educational and professional needs of Black law students. These students exemplify dedication, innovation and a commitment to advancing our law school community through advocacy, service and education.
As a newly elected board member, Lindsay will play a key role in continuing BLSA’s mission of advocacy, service, and education. Student leaders in the association are recognized for their commitment to advancing both their peers and the law school community at large.
Georgia State University College of Law praised Lindsay and her fellow officers, noting that their leadership “exemplifies dedication, innovation, and a commitment to advancing our law school community through advocacy, service and education.”
With more than 52,000 students across six campuses in metro Atlanta, Georgia State is one of the nation’s most diverse universities and a leader in graduating students from all backgrounds. The College of Law emphasized that leaders like Lindsay ensure the Ronald J. Freeman Chapter of BLSA remains a vital part of that mission.
