Piedmont Walton Welcomes Dr. Yiam Dieppa, M.D., to Loganville

Piedmont Physicians of Loganville has added a new member to its care team: Dr. Yiam Gabrielle Dieppa Garay, a board-certified family medicine physician. With more than three years of clinical experience and a deep commitment to personalized care, Dr. Dieppa is now seeing patients of all ages at the Loganville office.

 

Dr. Dieppa earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and completed his residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. His training included work across a variety of clinical settings, from outpatient care to emergency departments, equipping him with the broad skills necessary to manage both acute and chronic conditions.

 

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Dieppa brings a culturally inclusive approach to patient care. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, weight management, sports medicine, and aesthetic medicine. He emphasizes early intervention, wellness planning, and lifestyle counseling as core components of family medicine.

 

A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Dieppa is passionate about serving diverse communities. He is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, and the Puerto Rico College of Physicians and Surgeons. He credits his dedication to healthcare to the strong family values instilled in him from a young age, and says he strives to pass that same sense of commitment and trust on to his patients.

 

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dieppa enjoys spending time with his family, playing music—he sings and plays piano and drums—hiking, and traveling. He also enjoys nature photography, reflecting his appreciation for balance and well-being in everyday life.

 

Dr. Dieppa is now accepting new patients and participates in most major insurance plans.
