Community Gathers for Annual Festivities at West Walton Park

Exclusive

Loganville's annual Independence Day celebration kicked off the county's week-long festivities with a vibrant display of patriotism and community spirit. This year's event, held on June 28, 2025, at West Walton Park, drew residents and visitors alike for an evening filled with entertainment and fireworks.

Attendees began arriving early to secure prime spots on the fields of West Walton Park. The evening's entertainment featured the energetic sounds of Band X, who took the stage at 7:30 p.m., delivering a performance that had the crowd dancing and singing along. Prior to the main act, Miss Henry County, Emily Emmons, captivated the audience with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, prompting attendees to stand with hands over hearts in a unified display of national pride.

The celebration offered a variety of activities for all ages. Children enjoyed the Kids Zone, complete with inflatables and games, while food vendors provided a diverse selection of treats to satisfy every palate. As dusk settled, the sky illuminated with a spectacular fireworks display, marking the culmination of the evening's festivities.

For those who missed the Loganville event, the city of Monroe is hosting its own Independence Day celebration on July 4th in downtown Monroe, offering another opportunity to partake in the holiday festivities.

Loganville's Independence Day celebration continues to be a cherished tradition, bringing the community together to honor the nation's history and enjoy a night of entertainment and camaraderie.
