Loganville’s Coffee Scene Is Brewing: Two New Coffee Shops Open Their Doors

Coffee lovers in Loganville suddenly have a lot more options.

Over the past few weeks, two new coffee destinations have officially opened in the city, giving residents everything from artisan roasted coffee and European pastries to frozen specialty drinks, teas, smoothies, and breakfast sandwiches.

Earlier this month, BIGGBY Coffee opened its doors on Atlanta Highway, bringing the rapidly growing coffee franchise to Loganville with an enormous menu of hot, iced, and frozen drinks.

Then on Friday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m., The Local Bean celebrated its grand opening in downtown Loganville with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Walton County Chamber of Commerce.

The event drew a large crowd that included current and former mayors, local business owners, community leaders, and residents excited to try the shop’s coffee, teas, and pastries.

Located right on Main Street in the heart of downtown Loganville, The Local Bean has quickly created a warm and welcoming atmosphere designed to encourage customers to slow down, relax, and enjoy a carefully crafted cup of coffee.

According to the business, coffee is at the center of everything they do. The Local Bean partners with a local artisan roaster to source high-quality beans that are freshly roasted for peak flavor. Their coffee offerings rotate seasonally based on growing seasons around the world, meaning customers can experience different flavor profiles throughout the year.

The shop also offers pastries from Saint Germain Bakery, bringing a European-inspired touch to the downtown café experience.

Meanwhile, BIGGBY Coffee is offering Loganville residents an entirely different coffee experience with one of the largest drink menus in the area. The chain features an extensive lineup of hot and iced lattes, cold brews, frozen drinks, tea lattes, mocktails, breakfast items, pastries, and specialty beverages.

Some of the shop’s featured drinks include the Butter Bear Latte, Campfire Latte, Avalanche Latte, Tan Line Cold Brew, Island Bear Cold Brew, Matcha Tea Lattes, Creme Freeze drinks, and specialty energy beverages. The menu also includes breakfast bragels, muffins, donut holes, cookies, pretzel bites, and bagels.
