Loganville News and Events
Oct 10, 2025
Loganville’s dining scene just got richer — Loganville Soul Food is now officially open at 3895 Loganville Highway, located in the Chevron plaza. After months of anticipation and soft-launch plate sales, the new restaurant is ready to welcome diners with hearty, home-style comfort cooking.
A Bit of History and LocationThe idea for Loganville Soul Food has been in motion since at least mid-2024, when a building permit revealed plans for a 1,000-square-foot soul food restaurant at this address. The business entity behind the venture, Loganville Soul LLLP, was filed with the Georgia Secretary of State in August 2023.
Before the full dine-in space rolled out, doors were open in a limited capacity — delivering plates from the location while the full restaurant conditions were finalized. Locals have already left glowing reviews on social media and Yelp for both the food and the warm service. What’s On the Menu & HoursLoganville Soul Food offers a broad menu that covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with classic soul food staples and side options, paired with prices that aim to stay affordable and community-minded, according to the posted menu visuals.
Signature items include beef rib dinners, smothered turkey, lamb chops, salmon plates, and vegetarian options like veggie rasta pasta and cauliflower sliders. Side dishes run from collard greens, black-eyed peas, fried okra, and mac & cheese to sweet yams and cornbread. Desserts and beverages are also part of the lineup.
According to their posted hours, they open at 11:00 AM and plan to stay open through the evening; operating times may extend based on demand.
What It Means for LoganvilleFor a town like Loganville, Loganville Soul Food fills a gap in the local food landscape: a community-driven, Black-owned restaurant focused on comfort cuisine. It provides residents more nearby dining options and supports local culinary identity.
Early patrons have praised not just the food, but the friendly, family atmosphere and value. One Yelp reviewer called it “the best soul food in Gwinnett County bar none” and highlighted the “prices and service” as major wins for the community. |
