Loganville Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspect in Publix Theft |
Police are asking anyone who recognizes the individual pictured to contact investigators. |
The Loganville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person connected to a reported theft at the Publix in Loganville.
According to police, the incident occurred on July 15, 2026. Surveillance footage reportedly shows the individual pictured above removing a wallet from a woman’s purse while she was distracted as she shopped inside the store.
Police have released several images of the individual, who was wearing a dark baseball cap, a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and red-and-black shoes at the time of the incident.
Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about the case is asked to contact Detective K. Raines with the Loganville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at (770) 466-8087 or kraines@loganville-ga.gov.
Information provided after normal business hours should be directed to the Walton County Dispatch Center at (770) 464-0310.
The individual pictured is sought for identification in connection with the investigation and should be presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. |

Maybe more patrols near the stores would help cut this sort of thing down.
