The 12th Annual Donut Dash 5K returns September 19, with proceeds helping provide year-round athletic opportunities for Walton County Special Olympics athletes. |
The Loganville Police Department is inviting the community to put on their running shoes and support a great cause as the 12th Annual Donut Dash 5K returns on Saturday, September 19.
The popular event has become a Loganville tradition, bringing together runners, walkers, families, and community supporters for a morning dedicated to raising money for Walton County Special Olympics. Every dollar raised helps provide local athletes with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to compete, train, and build confidence through year-round athletic programs.
Race day activities begin at 8:00 a.m. with packet pickup and same-day registration, followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 9:00 a.m.
Early registration is $25, while registration on race day will be $30. Participants who register in advance are guaranteed an official event T-shirt, while supplies last. Those registering on race day will receive a shirt if any remain.
Whether you're an experienced runner chasing a new personal record or simply looking for a fun way to give back to the community, the Donut Dash offers an opportunity for people of all ages and fitness levels to make a difference.
The Loganville Police Department encourages everyone to come out, enjoy a morning of exercise and community fellowship, and help support the incredible athletes of Walton County Special Olympics. |
