Loganville will once again serve as the starting point for Walton County's America 250 Anniversary celebration as the city's annual Independence Celebration returns to West Walton Park on Saturday, June 27.

The free community event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m., offering an evening packed with live entertainment, activities for children, food vendors, and one of the area's most anticipated fireworks shows. This year's celebration also marks the official kickoff to Walton County's week-long America 250 festivities, commemorating the nation's 250th anniversary leading into Independence Day.

Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with a Kid Zone, local food vendors, and music from a live DJ, giving families plenty to enjoy before the featured concert begins later in the evening.

Taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. will be Bad Medicine, one of the Southeast's top Bon Jovi tribute bands. Known for delivering an authentic concert experience, the band performs many of Bon Jovi's biggest hits, including Livin' on a Prayer, Wanted Dead or Alive, You Give Love a Bad Name, and Bad Medicine. Their energetic performances and audience interaction have made them a favorite throughout the region.

As the sun sets, the celebration will conclude with a fireworks spectacular expected to begin around 9:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the concert and fireworks from the football fields adjacent to the Loganville Police Department.

Parking will be available at the Meridian Community Center and First Baptist Church of Loganville, with complimentary shuttle service transporting attendees to and from the event.

For many local families, Loganville's Independence Celebration has become a cherished summer tradition, bringing neighbors together each year to celebrate the nation's birthday with music, community spirit, and an unforgettable fireworks display.

West Walton Park is located at 925 Twin Lakes Road in Loganville. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
