The celebration of America's 250th anniversary continues in Loganville on Wednesday, July 1, as the cities of Loganville and Between come together to host a community celebration on the Loganville Town Green.
The free event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature food trucks, music from a live DJ, and family-friendly activities as residents gather to celebrate the nation's historic Semiquincentennial.
The event is part of Walton County's countywide America 250 celebration, a weeklong series of patriotic events leading up to Independence Day. Communities throughout the county are hosting concerts, festivals, parades, food vendors, and fireworks as they commemorate one of the most significant milestones in American history.
The America250 initiative was established by Congress to encourage communities across the country to reflect on the nation's founding, honor the people and events that shaped its history, and inspire future generations. The year 2026 marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
Organizers invite residents of all ages to stop by the Town Green to enjoy lunch, music, and time with family, friends, and neighbors while taking part in this once-in-a-generation national celebration.
The Loganville Town Green is located in the heart of downtown Loganville, and admission to the event is free. |
