🎃 Don't Forget the Halloween Fun Around Loganville!

You don't necessarily need tickets or reservations to enjoy Halloween weekend!

Scarecrows on Main

Take a stroll through downtown Loganville and enjoy the seasonal scarecrow displays created by community members, organizations, and local businesses.

It's a fun way to enjoy the fall atmosphere, take some pictures, and support our hometown.

The displays are scheduled to remain up through October 31.

Neighborhood Trick-or-Treating

Of course, we can't forget the biggest Halloween tradition of all!

Saturday evening, neighborhoods throughout Loganville and the surrounding communities will fill with witches, superheroes, princesses, ghosts, and all sorts of imaginative costumes.

Families can enjoy the traditional trick-or-treating experience, while those staying home can join the fun by decorating their houses and handing out candy.

Loganville's annual Trick or Treat on Main was held earlier this month, on October 24, but Halloween night itself still offers plenty of opportunities to celebrate.

🌤️ What About the Halloween Weather?

We've got some good news for all those little ghosts and goblins!

The forecast for Halloween Saturday looks pretty good!

Friday is expected to be mostly sunny and warm, with a high around 79 degrees.

Saturday should see increasing clouds with a high near 71 degrees. By the evening, temperatures are expected to settle into the 60s, making for comfortable trick-or-treating weather.

And the chance of rain during the day is only about 4 percent!

Sunday looks like a different story, with cooler temperatures and a chance of thunderstorms, so Saturday may be the better day to enjoy outdoor Halloween activities.

🦇 A Few Halloween Safety Reminders

Before heading out for all the fun, keep a few simple safety tips in mind:

  • Make sure costumes are easy to see after dark. Reflective materials, glow sticks, and flashlights can help.

  • Drivers should be especially cautious in neighborhoods where children are trick-or-treating.

  • Younger children should always be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Check candy and treats before children eat them.

  • Follow the age recommendations at haunted houses and other scary attractions.

  • Purchase tickets ahead of time for popular attractions, especially on Halloween night.

And remember, daylight saving time ends at 2 AM on Sunday, November 1. Don't forget to set those clocks back one hour!

🎃 Have a Spooktacular Halloween, Loganville!

Whether you're screaming your way through Netherworld, solving mysteries at Mystic Escape Room, taking a ghost tour through Lawrenceville, enjoying a scary movie at A Bite To Eat, or simply watching the kids collect candy around the neighborhood, there's something special about Halloween in our community.

It's an opportunity to have fun, support local businesses, spend time with friends and family, and make some wonderful memories.

We hope everyone has a fantastic Halloween weekend filled with plenty of treats, a few good tricks, and just the right amount of spooky fun!
