The Walton County School District will host a free disability screening for children ages 3–5 on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Screenings are available by appointment only.

This service is part of the district’s responsibility to identify and evaluate children with disabilities who may require special education and related services. The screenings focus on key developmental areas, including:

• Speech and language (talking)

• Motor skills (walking, moving)

• Vision and hearing (seeing, hearing)

• Learning and overall development

Parents and guardians who have concerns about their child’s development are encouraged to schedule an appointment.
