Who makes the best pizza in Loganville? Who is your favorite local contractor? Which doctor, salon, shop, restaurant or service business deserves to be recognized as one of the very best in our community?
It is time to have your say.
Loganville News & Events, The Loganville Pulse and LoganvilleLocal.com are excited to announce the first annual Best of Loganville awards, a year-end community contest created to recognize the businesses that make Loganville a great place to live, work, shop and eat.
The contest will feature a wide variety of categories covering nearly every part of local life, including restaurants, medical and healthcare providers, retail stores, home services, professional services and much more.
At the end of the contest, the winners in each category will receive a Best of Loganville 2026 award — along with something every local business loves to have:
Bragging rights for an entire year.
Nominations Begin October 1
The first phase of Best of Loganville begins with nominations.
From Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, residents will be able to nominate their favorite Loganville businesses in the available categories.
Every business already listed on LoganvilleLocal.com will automatically be included in the voting, so those businesses do not have to be nominated simply to participate.
However, nominations still matter.
Businesses already listed on LoganvilleLocal.com that receive community nominations will be moved toward the top of the voting cards, giving voters an easier opportunity to find and support them when official voting begins.
And if your favorite business is not currently listed on LoganvilleLocal.com, nominate it.
Businesses receiving nominations that are not already in the directory will be added to the Best of Loganville contest so they can compete when voting opens.
The goal is simple: make sure deserving local businesses have an opportunity to be recognized.
Voting Begins November 1
Once nominations close, the competition begins.
Official voting for Best of Loganville 2026 will begin Nov. 1 and continue through Dec. 31.
That gives the community two full months to support the businesses they believe deserve to be called the Best of Loganville.
Whether it is the restaurant where everybody knows your order, the HVAC company that showed up when your air conditioner quit in July, the doctor your family trusts, the shop where you always find something great or the local business that continually goes above and beyond for the community, this is your opportunity to recognize them.
And with so many categories, there will be plenty of chances to support more than one favorite.
More Than Just a Popularity Contest
The Best of Loganville awards are also about celebrating the people behind local businesses.
Every locally owned restaurant, shop and service company represents people who invest their time, money and energy into this community.
They employ local residents. They sponsor teams and school programs. They donate to fundraisers. They support local organizations. They serve their neighbors every day.
Best of Loganville is an opportunity for the community to return some of that support.
A nomination tells a business, “We noticed.”
A vote tells them, “You are one of our favorites.”
And winning tells everybody else in Loganville that local customers believe they are among the best at what they do.
Have a Favorite? Make Sure They Are Included
Think about the businesses you recommend when a neighbor asks for advice.
Where do you tell someone to go for dinner?
Who do you call when something breaks at your house?
Where do you shop locally?
Who gives great customer service every time?
Which businesses make you proud to have them in Loganville?
Those are the businesses we want to hear about.
Do not assume someone else will nominate them.
Beginning Oct. 1, take a few minutes and make sure your favorites are represented.
Then come back beginning Nov. 1 and vote.

Nominations: Oct. 1 – Oct. 31 Official Voting: Nov. 1 – Dec. 31 Winners Announced: After voting closes
The winners will receive the Best of Loganville 2026 award and the right to proudly tell customers they were chosen by the community as one of Loganville's best.
This is the first year for the awards, and we want Loganville to make it count.
Nominate the businesses you love.
Vote for the businesses you believe deserve it.

Moving nominated businesses up the voting cards doesn't seem quite fair
We appreciate you raising that concern. Businesses already in the directory will be included in voting regardless of nominations. Nominations help voters find them on the voting cards.

Two months of voting seems like a long time to me
It is a long window, and we hope it gives neighbors plenty of time to take part. Voting runs from Nov. 1 through Dec. 31.

Does a business have to be in Loganville to be nominated?
kim_87Good question. I know people who use businesses just outside town, so I'd like to see where they draw the line.
The contest is focused on Loganville businesses, but we haven’t specified a precise geographic boundary in this announcement. We’ll share any eligibility details when nominations open.
