Lavern, stepping into her first venture as a restaurant owner, brings warmth, vision, and a deep commitment to her community. Her husband Clinton is a seasoned chef with years of experience, and together they’ve created a space that’s upscale, family-friendly, and filled with flavor. Their goal? To serve up exceptional food, authentic vibes, and a gathering place where people feel right at home.

 

“We wanted a space that feels special but still welcoming to everyone,” Lavern shared. With seating for about 80 and a full-service bar, the space offers a refined atmosphere perfect for everything from casual lunches to evening date nights. Weekend live music and Sunday gospel brunches are part of the plan, giving Christopher’s a fun, festive flair that’s still rooted in family and community.

The menu at Christopher’s is a flavor-packed blend of traditional Caribbean dishes and American favorites. As Ray from Loganville News & Events, I had the chance to stop in during their soft opening and try the Philly Cheesesteak and fries — and let me tell you, it was a cut above. The steak was fresh, thinly shaved, and full of flavor, and the fries were crisp, well-seasoned, and just the right amount of crunchy. The service was excellent, too — friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they’re building.
